VoxeraX Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) supplements the VoxeraX Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and applies to your access to and use of the VoxeraX website, applications, APIs (if available), and all related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy applies to all content you upload, submit, generate, clone, transcribe, download, publish, distribute, or otherwise use through the Services, including text, audio, voice samples, generated voices, transcripts, prompts, and any other User Content.

By using VoxeraX, you agree to comply with this Policy. Failure to comply may result in warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, account termination, or other actions described in this Policy and the Terms of Service.

1. General Principles

VoxeraX is designed to help users create and work with AI-generated voices responsibly. You must use the Services in a lawful, ethical, and respectful manner.

You agree to:

  • Use VoxeraX lawfully, responsibly, and in good faith.
  • Comply with this Policy, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy.
  • Respect the rights, privacy, dignity, and safety of others.
  • Obtain all permissions, licenses, and consents required before uploading content or cloning any voice.
  • Review AI-generated outputs before publishing, distributing, or relying on them.

You remain solely responsible for your use of the Services and all content created or submitted through your account.

Compliance with this Policy does not guarantee that your use of the Services complies with applicable law. You remain solely responsible for ensuring that your activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, licensing requirements, and third-party rights applicable to your jurisdiction and intended use.

2. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of VoxeraX complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of any person or organization.

You must ensure that:

  • You own or have permission to use all uploaded content.
  • You have authorization before cloning another person’s voice.
  • You have the legal right to publish or distribute any generated content.
  • You do not use VoxeraX to deceive, harm, exploit, or violate the rights of others.
  • You cooperate with any reasonable requests made by VoxeraX when investigating suspected misuse of the Services.

3. Voice Cloning Requirements

Voice cloning is a powerful technology and must always be used responsibly and with respect for the rights of others.

You may only upload or clone a voice if:

  • You are cloning your own voice.
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, and legal authority to clone and use another person’s voice.

You must not:

  • Clone another person’s voice without authorization.
  • Upload recordings you are not legally permitted to use.
  • Use cloned voices to impersonate another individual for deceptive, fraudulent, malicious, or unlawful purposes.
  • Present AI-generated speech as an authentic recording where doing so would reasonably mislead others.
  • Attempt to bypass any voice verification or ownership confirmation process implemented by VoxeraX.
  • Use cloned or AI-generated voices to bypass identity verification systems, voice authentication mechanisms, banking authentication, customer support verification procedures, biometric security systems, or any other security or identity verification process.

Where appropriate, VoxeraX may require additional confirmation that you possess all necessary rights before voice cloning is permitted.

4. Child Safety

VoxeraX has zero tolerance for content involving the exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of children.

You must not use the Services to:

  • Create, upload, distribute, or promote child sexual abuse material.
  • Groom, exploit, or endanger minors.
  • Generate sexualized content involving minors.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully children.
  • Encourage or facilitate child abuse or exploitation in any form.
  • Create, distribute, or promote age-inappropriate material specifically directed toward minors, including material promoting sexual content, graphic violence, criminal activity, or other mature themes unsuitable for children.

VoxeraX may report apparent child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, or other child-safety threats to appropriate authorities or organizations where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect children.

5. Illegal Activities

You must not use VoxeraX to facilitate, promote, or participate in illegal activities.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Fraud.
  • Identity theft.
  • Money laundering.
  • Human trafficking.
  • Terrorist activities.
  • Extortion.
  • Blackmail.
  • Distribution of illegal goods or services.
  • Criminal conspiracies.
  • Violations of applicable sanctions or export-control laws.
  • Advertise, facilitate, or promote transactions involving controlled substances, illegal drugs, unlawful firearms, explosives, counterfeit goods, unlawfully distributed prescription medications, or other regulated goods or services where prohibited by applicable law.
  • Assisting, encouraging, or facilitating another person in committing unlawful acts through the Services.

Users remain solely responsible for complying with all laws applicable to their activities.

5.1 High-Risk Professional Uses

VoxeraX is not intended to replace qualified human judgment in situations where inaccurate or misleading AI-generated content could significantly affect an individual’s rights, health, safety, finances, employment, education, insurance coverage, or legal interests.

You must not use VoxeraX as the sole basis for providing legal, medical, financial, insurance, employment, mental health, or other professional advice where individuals may reasonably rely upon AI-generated outputs to make significant decisions without appropriate human review.

Where applicable, users remain responsible for ensuring that qualified professionals review AI-assisted outputs before they are relied upon or communicated to others.

Users remain solely responsible for obtaining any licenses, certifications, approvals, or professional qualifications required by law for the services they provide using VoxeraX.

6. Fraud, Deception, and Impersonation

You may not use VoxeraX to deceive or manipulate others in a way that could reasonably cause harm.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Financial scams.
  • Phishing.
  • Social engineering.
  • Fake customer support.
  • Fake banking or payment requests.
  • Identity theft.
  • Fake emergency communications.
  • Fraudulent robocalls.
  • Voice-based authentication bypass attempts.
  • Creating fake evidence or recordings intended to deceive.

You must not impersonate another individual, organization, or public authority in a manner likely to mislead others regarding the origin or authenticity of communications.

7. Privacy and Personal Information

You must respect the privacy rights of others.

You must not:

  • Upload personal information without authorization.
  • Share confidential information unlawfully.
  • Record or clone voices without required consent.
  • Use VoxeraX to unlawfully collect, distribute, or expose personal information.
  • Use personal information obtained through VoxeraX for unauthorized surveillance or monitoring.

If your content contains another person’s personal information, you are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary permissions.

8. Intellectual Property

You must respect copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, and other intellectual property rights.

You may not:

  • Upload copyrighted content without authorization.
  • Clone protected voice recordings you do not have permission to use.
  • Infringe trademarks or publicity rights.
  • Remove ownership notices from content belonging to others.
  • Misrepresent ownership of content created by another party.

9. Harassment, Hate Speech, and Violent Content

You must not use VoxeraX to create or distribute content that promotes serious harm toward individuals or groups.

This includes content that:

  • Threatens violence.
  • Encourages terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Promotes hatred based on protected characteristics.
  • Encourages targeted harassment.
  • Promotes stalking or intimidation.
  • Celebrates or encourages serious violence against others.
  • Promotes or facilitates sexual exploitation, coercion, forced labor, or other forms of human exploitation.

Nothing in this Policy prohibits legitimate artistic, fictional, satirical, educational, documentary, journalistic, historical, or research-related content, provided such content is not intended to promote, facilitate, encourage, or reasonably contribute to real-world harm, deception, criminal conduct, or unlawful activity.

10. Self-Harm and Dangerous Activities

You must not use VoxeraX to encourage, promote, or facilitate:

  • Suicide.
  • Self-harm.
  • Eating disorders.
  • Dangerous criminal acts.
  • Instructions intended to facilitate serious harm to others.

Educational, documentary, awareness, or recovery-related content may be permitted where it does not encourage harmful behavior.

11. Misinformation and Deceptive Content

You must not knowingly use VoxeraX to create or distribute deceptive content intended to cause harm.

Examples include:

  • Fake emergency announcements.
  • Fraudulent public safety warnings.
  • Medical misinformation intended to endanger others.
  • Fabricated evidence intended to deceive courts, law enforcement, employers, or educational institutions.
  • False statements presented as authentic recordings where doing so could reasonably cause harm.

12. Political and Civic Content

VoxeraX must not be used to interfere with democratic or civic processes.

You must not:

  • Impersonate political candidates or elected officials.
  • Produce deceptive election-related recordings.
  • Create content intended to suppress or discourage lawful voting through deception.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated political speech as authentic recordings where doing so is likely to mislead the public.
  • Generate deceptive campaign advertisements or fundraising communications.
  • Solicit campaign donations through deceptive AI-generated content.
  • Produce deceptive automated political calls or other communications intended to manipulate or interfere with elections or civic participation.

Nothing in this Policy prohibits lawful political expression that complies with applicable law.

13. Sexual and Obscene Content

VoxeraX must not be used to create, generate, upload, distribute, or promote sexual, pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content.

You must not use the Services to:

  • Generate pornography, erotic content, sexual roleplay, or explicit sexual dialogue.
  • Create sexually explicit content involving real or identifiable individuals.
  • Generate sexual deepfakes or use cloned voices for adult entertainment or sexually explicit services.
  • Use obscene, vulgar, abusive, or offensive language in violation of this Policy.

14. Content Monitoring and Enforcement

VoxeraX may use automated moderation systems and human review to detect prohibited content, including sexual content, vulgar language, abusive behavior, or attempts to bypass safety restrictions.

Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, VoxeraX may:

  • Issue a warning.
  • Block or remove the content.
  • Temporarily suspend the account.
  • Permanently terminate the account.
  • Block future access linked to the user’s email address, IP address, device identifiers, or other associated information, where permitted by law.

Repeated violations or attempts to evade restrictions may result in immediate permanent termination.

15. Platform Abuse

You must not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to compromise the Services.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions or obtain additional free benefits.
  • Circumventing subscription limits, usage limits, or technical safeguards.
  • Reverse engineering the Services except where permitted by applicable law.
  • Attempting unauthorized access to VoxeraX systems.
  • Using automated systems to abuse the platform.
  • Scraping or extracting platform data without authorization.
  • Interfering with the normal operation, security, or availability of the Services.
  • Attempting to bypass platform security features.
  • Creating, distributing, promoting, or facilitating malware, spyware, ransomware, credential-stealing software, botnets, unauthorized surveillance software, malicious code, or similar harmful technologies.
  • Create or distribute instructions primarily intended to facilitate unauthorized access to computer systems, credential theft, exploitation of software vulnerabilities, or other unlawful cyber activities.
  • Generate unsolicited bulk communications, spam campaigns, automated harassment, or other abusive communications through the Services.
  • Use Outputs generated through VoxeraX to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve artificial intelligence models or machine-learning systems that compete with VoxeraX, except where expressly authorized in writing.
  • Use the Services or Outputs to develop, improve, benchmark, or commercialize competing AI voice-generation products or services without VoxeraX’s prior written authorization.
  • Using automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or similar technologies in a manner that excessively burdens, disrupts, or interferes with the Services or other users.

16. AI Output Responsibilities

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, biases, or unexpected results.

Users remain solely responsible for verifying the legality, accuracy, appropriateness, authenticity, and suitability of all AI-generated outputs before publishing, distributing, relying upon, or otherwise using them.

VoxeraX must not be used as the sole basis for providing legal, medical, financial, insurance, employment, mental health, safety-critical, or other professional advice where individuals may reasonably rely upon AI-generated outputs to make significant decisions without appropriate human review.

Users should not rely exclusively on AI-generated outputs in situations involving legal, financial, medical, employment, insurance, public safety, or other high-risk matters without independent verification and appropriate human oversight.

17. AI Disclosure

Where users interact directly with AI-generated voices through customer support systems, virtual assistants, automated telephone services, interactive voice response systems, AI receptionists, or similar applications, where required by applicable law, users must clearly disclose when another person is interacting with AI-generated speech rather than a human speaker. Even where disclosure is not expressly required by law, VoxeraX encourages transparent use of AI-generated voices whenever failure to disclose could reasonably mislead another person.

18. Reporting Violations

If you believe content or activity violates this Policy, you are encouraged to report it to VoxeraX.

Reports should include sufficient information to allow us to investigate the matter.

Submitting knowingly false, misleading, or abusive reports may itself violate this Policy.

19. Enforcement

VoxeraX may investigate suspected violations using automated systems, user reports, trusted third-party information where appropriate, and human review where reasonably necessary.

Depending on the severity, frequency, and nature of a violation, VoxeraX may:

  • Remove content.
  • Restrict specific features.
  • Issue warnings.
  • Suspend accounts.
  • Permanently terminate accounts.
  • Disable access to certain Services.
  • Preserve relevant information where required by law.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement or other competent authorities where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, or security of others.
  • Preserve evidence relating to suspected violations where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce this Policy, comply with applicable law, respond to lawful legal process, or protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of VoxeraX, its users, or third parties.

Failure by VoxeraX to enforce any provision of this Policy shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other rights or remedies available to VoxeraX.

20. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, technology, or safety practices.

When we make material changes, we may update the Effective Date and provide notice through the Services, by email, or through another appropriate method where required by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Services after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
